THE PROVIDER DIRECTORY

Compare API credit providers.

Eight routes. Clear questions about funding, quotas, hosting, and the cost of useful AI.

Compare the route, not just the model. A direct API account, cloud-hosted model, consumer subscription, and third-party gateway can have different billing rules. These guides are not a live price ranking.

Four questions to ask every provider

What is funded? Name the model, service, account, and billing unit. A familiar model name does not establish that a credit applies to every hosting route.

What are the conditions? Verify eligibility, expiration, regional scope, and the behavior after exhaustion. Keep promotional grants separate from ordinary paid usage.

What counts as success? Use a representative dataset and include retries, invalid results, and review work. Compare the same cost boundary for each candidate.

Who controls it? Identify who can inspect spending, manage funding, and pause the application. Keep those responsibilities explicit before traffic grows.

For the worked method, read the cost-control framework. For the underlying references, visit the official source directory.
